Peter Godwin is a new wave musician who was part of the band Metro, as well as a solo artist and songwriter. His work includes "Criminal World" which was covered by David Bowie〔The Complete David Bowie By Nicholas Pegg published by Reynolds & Hearn, 2000 ()〕 and 1982's "Images of Heaven"〔(The New music record guide By Ira A. Robbins p 65 Omnibus, 1987 )〕 which was a "cult favorite on new wave radio stations".
